Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the website https://www.recforge.ovh and the mobile application RecForge II.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, to make subsequent navigation easier.

| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |

Essential cookies
The cc_cookie cookie is required for the consent banner to remember your choice. It contains no personal data and cannot be disabled, since it is necessary for the website to function correctly with respect to your privacy preferences.
Analytics cookies
This website does not currently use analytics cookies. Should that change in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent through the cookie banner before placing any non-essential cookie.
Technologies used in the mobile application
The RecForge II mobile application does not use HTTP cookies (it is not a browser), but it uses similar technologies through third-party SDKs:
- Firebase Analytics (privacy policy) — anonymous usage analytics, used to understand how users use the app.
- Firebase Crashlytics (privacy policy) — anonymous crash reports, used to fix bugs.
- LevelPlay / IronSource (privacy policy) — ad serving and ad-related identifiers, only in the free (Freemium) version of the application.
- Unity Ads (privacy policy) — ad network, only in the free version.
- Vungle (privacy policy) — ad network, only in the free version.
Managing your preferences
On the website
The first time you visit, a consent banner powered by CookieConsent lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page.
In the mobile application
The application uses Google's UMP (User Messaging Platform) to collect your consent in compliance with the GDPR and the IAB TCF v2.2 framework. A consent form is shown the first time you launch the app. You can review and update your choices at any time from the application's Settings → Privacy.
If you refuse non-essential data collection:
- Firebase Analytics events are not collected.
- Ads are still shown in the free version, but are non-personalized (not based on your activity, only on the current context).
- Firebase Crashlytics still operates with anonymous app-instance data, on the legal basis of legitimate interest. You can opt out by uninstalling the app or by contacting us at dje073@gmail.com.
Legal basis
Pursuant to article 82 of the French Loi Informatique et Libertés and the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC):
- Essential cookies are placed without prior consent.
- Analytics and advertising technologies are activated only after we obtain your consent.
