Questions
Where are my recordings?
On your phone, in Recordings/RecForge. With Premium, in the folder of your choice, SD card included. They are ordinary audio files.
Does transcription need the Internet?
No. The model downloads once from Google Play; after that everything happens on the phone, even in airplane mode.
Is there a time limit?
No. Recording goes on with the screen off, in the background.
Does a medical or legal dictation stay on the phone?
Yes: the recording and its transcription stay on the phone, and transcription works in airplane mode.
What quality for music?
WAV or FLAC, lossless, up to 48 kHz. WAV up to 32-bit float; FLAC in 16 or 24-bit.
